Affiliate disclosure
How eastjakarta.com earns money, and what that does and doesn't mean for you.
The short version
Some links on eastjakarta.com are affiliate links. If you click one and then book a hotel, flight, tour, ticket, eSIM, transfer, car hire or insurance policy, the provider may pay us a commission. You pay the same price as you would going to the provider directly.
Affiliate commission is our only source of income. We do not run advertising of any kind, and we do not sell sponsored posts or paid placements.
How it works
Our affiliate links are managed through Travelpayouts, a travel affiliate network. When you click a partner button, you pass through a Travelpayouts tracking link to the partner's own website. A cookie or similar identifier records that you came from us, so that if you book within the partner's tracking window, the booking can be credited to eastjakarta.com.
Your booking is made directly with the partner, under the partner's terms, prices and privacy policy. We never see your payment details and cannot change or cancel a booking for you.

Not every partner appears on every page, and we may add or remove partners over time. When we do, we update this list.
How to spot an affiliate link
- Partner links appear as buttons such as "Check prices", "Search flights" or "Get an Indonesia eSIM".
- They are marked as "sponsored" in the page code, in line with search-engine guidelines.
- A short disclosure note appears after each block of partner buttons.
- Links to official attraction sites, transport operators and government portals are ordinary links and earn us nothing.
What commissions don't change
Commissions never decide what we recommend. We feature places because they're useful to visitors to East Jakarta, and many of our recommendations, such as the Lubang Buaya memorial, street-food stalls and public transport, earn us nothing. Businesses cannot pay to be included or ranked. Our editorial policy explains how we choose hotels and tours.
