Masjid Agung At-Tin
Masjid Agung At-Tin is the great mosque beside Taman Mini's Gate 1, its single huge dome and arrow-shaped arches visible from the toll road. Built by the family of President Soeharto in memory of Ibu Tien Soeharto and opened in 1999, it welcomes visitors outside prayer times and makes an easy add-on to a TMII day.

History
Work began in April 1997, with the foundation stone laid in August 1997, and the mosque opened to the public on 26 November 1999. It was funded through the Yayasan Ibu Tien Soeharto; the name recalls both Surah At-Tin, the 95th chapter of the Qur'an, and Ibu Tien herself.
Architecture
The design is by the father-and-son architects Achmad Noe'man and Fauzan Noe'man. The complex covers about 70,000 m², with a main building of roughly 10,000 m² holding around 9,000 worshippers inside and 1,850 more in the covered galleries and plaza; during Ramadan the mosque has hosted about 12,000. Look for the arrow-shaped motifs repeated on the walls and the light falling through the dome.
Visiting tips
Come mid-morning or mid-afternoon between prayers, take off your shoes before the carpeted hall and keep to the edges if people are praying. Friday midday is the busiest time. The mosque is just outside TMII, so it pairs naturally with our Taman Mini guide.
Getting there
Use Grab or Gojek to Jl. Taman Mini I, or walk from TMII's Gate 1 area. LRT Jabodebek's TMII station is a short ride away.
