Kramat Jati & Condet travel guide

Kramat Jati runs south along Jl. Raya Bogor from Cililitan and Cawang, and it feeds the city: Pasar Induk Kramat Jati, Jakarta's main fruit-and-vegetable wholesale market, trades around the clock. To the west, Condet was declared a Betawi cultural area in the 1970s and is still known for salak Condet, dodol Betawi and the perfume shops and kebuli kitchens of its Arab-Indonesian community.
