Cakung travel guide
Cakung is East Jakarta's eastern frontier with Bekasi, an industrial district that has reinvented itself around Jakarta Garden City, a 370-hectare township with lakes, parks, AEON Mall and IKEA. It is also the departure point for long-distance buses: Terminal Pulo Gebang, opened in 2016, handles coaches to the rest of Java and beyond.

Getting there
KRL Cikarang line trains stop at Cakung station; the JORR and Cakung toll gates serve drivers, and Grab or Gojek is the easiest way into Jakarta Garden City.
