Duren Sawit travel guide
Duren Sawit is residential East Jakarta, wedged between Jatinegara and the Bekasi border, and its outdoor life runs along the Banjir Kanal Timur (BKT), the East Flood Canal. The canal banks have become a long linear park where people jog in the morning and street-food carts gather at night, while Kalimalang to the south has its own food court and cafés.
